I thought I was looking at a constellation near the big dipper last night when all of a sudden one of the stars started moving away from the others. Then it flashed very bright for a moment before it dimmed into a dark red color and started moving in a snake like pattern before suddenly picking up speed and then bam it instantly shot to the west and was gone.
