Witness Account

On August 4, 2026, between approximately 9:45 PM and 10:00 PM local time, I observed a very large, elongated, cigar-shaped aerial object from Crispano, in the Metropolitan City of Naples, Italy. The object appeared to be flying at approximately cloud level and travelled north. It remained visible for several minutes. It was moving relatively quickly, but slowly enough for me to clearly observe its shape and apparent structure. It was not a point of light. I could clearly distinguish an elongated hull-like body that appeared to emit or diffuse light. No wings, tail or conventional aircraft structure were visible. The object produced no audible engine noise or any other sound. It did not resemble an aircraft, a cloud, a Starlink satellite train, a meteor or a conventional airship. I checked Flightradar24 during or immediately after the observation, but found no corresponding tracked aircraft travelling in that direction. The movement appeared regular and continuous, without sudden turns or visible changes in speed. The object eventually continued north and moved out of sight.
