Looked up and saw what appeared to be a satellite traveling south to north

Witness Account

Facing east, I saw a light moving south to north appearing as a polar orbit satellite. Steady pace, about 45 degrees above horizon. After about a minute it stopped it's movement. Then started same direction 15 seconds later. Moved for about 10 seconds, stopped, made a slight horizontal move to the west then east stopping again. Motionless for around 20 seconds. Movement started again except it was traveling northeast, a definite change of direction. Continued direction for about a minute until disappearing behind local tall trees.
