I was out in the back garden, just fiddling with my new solar-powered fountain installation when this thing, this massive silver disc, decided to hover over my neighbor's roof. It was silent at first, like the quiet before a thunderstorm, and then it started humming, almost like it was vibrating with energy. It was so shiny, it made my eyes squint, and it was like the sunlight was dancing off it. I could see what looked like windows around the edge, and for a second, I swear I saw shadows moving behind them. As it hung there, a strange warmth spread across the garden, and all the flowers seemed to lean towards it, like they were reaching for the sun. I don't know how long it was there, maybe a few minutes, but it felt like an eternity. Then, without a sound, it just zipped away, vanishing into the horizon faster than anything I've ever seen.
