Was in my backyard heard this sound a roar so loud and scary it made my husband run outside

Backyard Friday afternoon not far from backdoor near my kitchen. I hear a sound like no other, it was so LOUD but the loudness was a roar. It reminded me of dystopia movies, this oppressive sound. Even typing about it makes me sad, gives me chills and my eyes tear up It was so disturbing and so VERY LOUD. I'm screaming my husband but he's already run outside because of the noise. While I'm yelling my husband's name I follow the sound with my eyes on the sky. Turing right, the sound is flying over my right shoulder as I turn, I look up and this thing appears for seconds. By time my husband is out the door it's gone. It's mostly red, the main body is shaped like a cigar with a more pointed top. The bottom round part has some orange to it. It has two "wings" at the front, but they're not like wings on commercial aircraft or any military I've seen. There two "wings" at the bottom. They're L shaped "wings". Straight piece attaching to the body, while an another piece pointing towards to front of the it. The bottom "wings" do the opposite, their piece points downward.
