Witness Account

The object was to my East-Northeast as I proceeded North on I-405 from about South Coast Plaza to I-605 North on my normal commute. It appeared to be illuminated solely by the sun's reflection high into the atmosphere, as the sun was setting at this time. I could not take any pictures or photos, as I was driving. The object appeared to be two vertically oriented metal rods joined at the top. At first I thought it was perhaps two rocket boosters, but the light reflected off the object would wax and wane as the sun set. It was about 8:00 PM or 8:05 PM when I got to the I-605 North exit; that is when the object ceased to be visible as the sunlight faded. I tried to look for it again when I got home, but could no longer see it at 8:20 PM.
