Witness Account

I was in my backyard, tending to my garden when I heard a low humming noise. It was peculiar, not quite like anything I'd heard before. As I looked up, I noticed a metallic object hovering above the old maple tree. The object was hexagonal, with a shiny surface that seemed to reflect the colors of the sky around it, blending seamlessly into the atmosphere. It moved with a fluid grace, almost as if it were dancing in the air, but there was no visible propulsion system. It hovered there for what felt like eternity, but was probably only a few minutes. Then, in a blink, it shot upwards and vanished without a trace. My heart was pounding, yet I couldn't help but feel a strange sense of wonder.
