Witness Account

Smoking cigarette on second floor deck, looking East, inclination zero degrees, out of nowhere, I said "look Up" I was not thinking of anything at the time and I was shocked later after the event. The thought did not originate with myself. I looked up inclination 45 degrees and spotted a metallic sphere guessing about the size of a basketball flying Southbound about 25 mph. Viewed for about 3 seconds, it then made a jerky coarse correction about 45 degrees now heading to the Southwest, viewed for about 2 seconds and was accelerating and disappeared over the roof out of sight. It was completely silent, I was the only person to see this, if I had not looked up "as instructed" I would not have seen it. It was a beautiful machine and I feel privileged to have seen it, and it seems like it wanted me to see it as strange as that sounds. I was trained observer in the U.S. Coast Guard and I have never seen anything like that. I hope it's ours! Thank You.
