i was just about to close my bookshop when this thing, like a big ol' floating disk, showed up right above the city skyline. it had this crazy glimmer, like someone poured a million tiny diamonds all over it. i watched it hover, not making a sound, then it zipped around in zigzags like it was playing tag with itself. no joke, it was like it was drawing patterns up there! and then, without warning, it vanished into thin air. left me staring at the empty sky with my jaw hanging open. i don't even know how to describe it right, but it felt like i was in a sci-fi movie, except it was all too real.
