Witness Account

i was chillin' on the rooftop of my apartment, paintin' the sunset, you know, just tryna capture that perfect blend of oranges and purples. outta nowhere, this whirring sound just cut through the calm, like an electric saw at a lumberjack convention. i looked up, and there it was, a floating metallic doughnut. no joke, it had a hole in the middle and everything. it was just hangin' there, pulsating like it was breathin' or something. as i squinted, i noticed the edges had this shimmering effect, like when you look at a road on a hot day. it started doin' this weird dance, like a leaf caught in a breeze, moving in loops and zigzags. and then, in the blink of an eye, it shot straight up, leaving a trail of sparkles. i was left there, paintbrush in hand, wonderin' if i'd been paintin' fumes or somethin'.
