It was long and slender and appeared to be a solid, brilliant red that terminated in a distinct V shape at its rear end.

Witness Account

As the UAP rose it seemed to alter direction which caused it to straighten out in my line of sight and thus condense to a departing rear view only or it could have begun to cloak itself. Either way, it moved quickly toward the E/SE until disappearing.
