So, I'm at the farmer's market, just browsing through some heirloom tomatoes when I notice this crazy shadow passing overhead. I look up, and there's this gigantic, disk-like thing hovering above the stalls. It's got this iridescent sheen, like an oil slick in the sun. It makes this weird, low humming sound that seems to vibrate through my bones. Everyone around me is just frozen, staring at this thing, but it seems like I'm the only one who can see these little windows around the edge. It's like a scene from a movie, but happening right in front of me. Then, just as quickly as it appeared, it shoots off towards the river, leaving behind this strange metallic smell in the air. I swear it was there for less than two minutes.
