5/17/26 10:06pm - I was walking on my property after feeding animals, glanced to my right and notice a glowing light near my property boundary along the Long Tom river. Approximately 200’ away and maybe 15’ off the ground, was a glowing orange orb of light. I stopped walking and stood still to try to catch any movement. It started moving horizontally to the right then appeared to start bobbing slowly up and down as it moved closer toward the ground, perhaps 3’ to 5’ off the ground. It was not shining light or glowing brightly, but the magnitude of the light changed ever so slightly as it appeared to move closer toward my position. The glow of the light itself was not flickering or shimmering like one would expect fire or ball lightning to act. Just a steady emanating glow. I was facing north as I watched it. From the moment I saw it I did not loose eye sight with it, even though there are multiple tree trunks that could have obscured it. There are no lights or electrical infrastructure on this part of the property or my neighbors property. I estimate it to be anywhere from golfball to baseball size. The experience lasted up to 5 minutes. I watched it, I tried to record it, but it eventually seemed to notice and then reverted course moving back towards the north along the river and slowly faded out. It was dark outside of course and I did not notice any other phenomena or aerial sightings during the experience.
