Sphere moving fast from West to East I was over at my mother's house and, sitting outside on the front porch. I caught some movement with my eyes and, at what I would guess was about 2,000 to 3,000 feet in altitude I spotted a metallic, spherical object moving quickly from West to East. I thought at first glance it might be a silver mylar balloon but, those usually flip and rotate if they are caught in the wind. This object was perfectly round and was traveling in a straight line and, at ground level there was no discernible wind. It continued to travel very fast, maintaining a straight line trajectory heading East until it got far enough away that I lost sight of it. This wasn't any kind of conventional aircraft that I am used to seeing in the sky. It was perfectly round and had no flight surfaces (wings or tail). It was not making any sound that I could hear and it was not leaving a contrail.
