So, I'm in the middle of this art class in Charleston, right? We're supposed to be painting this still life of a bunch of fruit, but I'm staring out the window, daydreaming. Suddenly, I see this shiny, disc-like thing just hovering outside, not far from the window. It wasn't like anything I'd seen before—like a giant metallic mushroom cap with a swirling, iridescent surface that caught the sunlight and made it glimmer in the craziest way. At first, I thought it was some sort of art installation, but then it started moving in these weird, zigzag patterns, almost like it was dancing in the sky. I couldn't believe my eyes and totally lost track of my painting. I nudged the person next to me, and they were just as stunned. We both watched as this thing zoomed off at an insane speed, disappearing over the horizon. It didn't make any noise, and the air felt strangely static when it was around. After it vanished, I felt this weird, tingly sensation in my fingertips, like I'd just touched something electric. I swear, it was the most surreal thing ever, and no one in the class believed us when we tried to explain what we'd seen. But I know what I saw, and it wasn't from around here, that's for sure.
