Witness Account

I was out taking pictures of the moon through my telescope. A white light flew across the sky coming from the southwest. When it got directly over the top of us (me, my fiance, & our friend) my friend asked us if we thought it was illegal to shine a green laser light at stuff like that and it immediately lit up bright as the sun for about 3 seconds before it dimmed back down. It was like it heard us and was saying hello!! I felt the hair on my arms stand up and had an instant weird feeling in my stomach. We were all so shocked but also amazed. The light flash had been so bright it left the shape of it even after when I closed my eyes. My fiance has 4 years in the Marines and 10 years in the Army and our friend was also in the marines for 4 years and worked on airplanes. They knew this was not an airplane. It was completely silent and did not have aviation lights like planes do.
