Witness Account

I was on my rooftop, just setting up my telescope to catch a glimpse of the meteor shower that was supposed to happen. The sky was clear, stars twinkling like diamonds scattered across a velvet blanket. Out of nowhere, I noticed this weird, metallic orb floating silently above the treeline. It had this sort of glowing aura around it, almost like it was pulsating with energy. It hovered for a bit, and I swear I saw it split into three smaller orbs, each one zipping off in a different direction, only to come back together moments later. It was like nothing I’ve ever seen, defying any logic I know.
