Large green orb moving west to east near I10 on about 90 degree trajectory. As it reached lower anltitude it turned red.

Witness Account

The orb was large and and a vibrant green color. It came down on a trajectory, at less than 90 degrees. As it came closer to the ground, the orb changed from green to a volcanic red. There was a short trail behind the orb. The transition from green to red occurred in about 3 seconds. I estimate the orb was less than 10 miles from my location. estimate the orb was about 10 miles south of my location. I expected to hear an impact. There was no sound at all. I got up to check for a fire. Nothing. It happened so quickly, I didn't get a photo.
