Very fast moving white light. Off on the distance. Transversed 15 degrees of my line of site bearing to contact. No tail or trail.

Witness Account

While driving northbound on HWY 17. White light object far in the distance at 22 deg. above the horizon. No tail or trail like a rocket or shooting star. Single moving light. First observed at my relative BRG 018, moved quickly right to left over ~0.8 sec in straight light, disappearing at relative BRG 003. Angle above horizon decreases slightly while observing, indicating traveling away from me. Observed course of the contact had a 115 deg Port angle on the bow (in navy contact management terms). Contact moved significantly faster than any aircraft I’ve seen before even as a Naval Officer. Check FlightAware, there were no aircraft down this bearing at time of observation.
