so i'm chilling at the community center, waiting for the open mic night to start. the sun was dipping low, casting these crazy shadows over the courtyard. suddenly, outta nowhere, i hear this deep, humming sound, like an old-school synthesizer on a bass boost. i look up and see this weird, metallic sphere hovering over the fountain. it wasn't just floating though, it was like it was dancing to some cosmic beat, spiraling and shifting in ways that defy logic. everyone else was too busy with their poetry and guitars, but i was just glued to this thing, mesmerized. then, the sphere does this insane thing – it splits into three smaller orbs, each a different color. they circle around each other, creating a halo of shimmering light that seemed to pulse with a rhythm of its own. it was surreal, like watching a piece of avant-garde performance art in the sky. just as quickly as it appeared, it zipped away with a whoosh, leaving a faint trail of sparkles behind. i swear, it was like something straight outta a sci-fi movie, but it was all real and happening right in front of me.
