I was taking a break from a pretty intense chess tournament at the local library. The place was packed with all sorts of chess enthusiasts, and the air was filled with the sound of pieces clinking against boards. Needing some fresh air, I stepped outside to the small garden at the back, which was beautifully lit by fairy lights strung between the trees. I was lost in thought, replaying the last game in my head, when suddenly, the garden lights flickered and went out, leaving me in complete darkness except for the pale moonlight. That's when I noticed a bizarre, metallic humming sound growing louder. I looked up and saw this massive, triangular object with a glossy surface hovering just above the treetops.
