Witness Account

I was sitting on my porch, attempting to coax some tunes out of an old ukulele when I saw this thing just hanging there above the wheat fields. It was a sleek, metallic egg, and I swear it shimmered like it was cloaked in a thousand tiny mirrors. The thing didn't make a sound, which was weird because the birds went silent too, like they were eavesdropping. It started spinning slowly, and I swear it looked like it was mimicking the moves of my fingers on the ukulele strings. I blinked a few times, thinking maybe the sun was messing with my eyes, but it was still there, dancing to a tune only it could hear.
