So there I was, elbow-deep in this old radio I was fixing in my garage, when this humming noise started vibrating the walls like a bass drum in a rock concert. At first, I thought it was the neighbor's son blasting music again, but when I stepped outside to yell at him, there was nothing but silence and a peculiar smell of burnt cinnamon hanging in the air. Then I saw it—a sleek, metallic thing, like a chrome surfboard, hovering just above the old mango tree in the backyard.
