Big black object came out of the clouds and stayed stationary

Witness Account

Was walking down the road to get back home stopped because a rock had gotten into my shoe. I lit a cigarette and was standing near the corner of the street when I looked up and noticed what appeared to be the edge of something black coming out of the clouds, i stood there and watched it as it descended to below the cloud cover it was what I can only describe as a cube shape, jet black, and looked to have something metallic on the top of it. It was very windy , so I figured I'd watch it and see if it was some sort of balloon or something. It stayed completely stationary the whole time I watched it. Did not move except for rotating , very slowly. I could be mistaken, but it appeared to be shining something down toward the ground, As the bottom of it kept showing these green flashes. It seemed as if every time it slowly rotated and showed a different side of itself. This green flash like a light, but almost see through would turn on on the bottom of it for about 10 seconds and Then shut off again. By this time , I was genuinely weirded out as to what it could possibly be. It appeared to start moving towards the west toward the hudson river. I ended up walking up toward the main road…
