Witness Account

I was out in the middle of the river on my little fishing boat, casting lines and enjoying the solitude. It was just past dawn, and the mist was still hanging low over the water. Suddenly, the air felt heavy, like something was pushing down on it. I looked up and saw this massive, oval-shaped object hovering silently just above the treetops on the riverbank. It wasn't making any noise, but the water below it was rippling like it was caught in a gentle breeze. I swear, the thing was as big as a football field. I could see panels on its underside that shimmered with all sorts of colors like a soap bubble. It moved so smoothly, gliding along with no visible means of propulsion. I just sat there, mouth open, rod forgotten in my hands. Then, just as quickly as it appeared, it shot up into the sky and was gone, leaving nothing but a gentle breeze and a slightly unsettled fisherman.
