Orange orb seen near Ft Hood (Ft Cavasos)

Witness Account

On the evening of 12 September 2023 at approximately 9:37 PM while on the phone with a colleague, I walked around the back of my house and noticed an orange orb in the sky that appeared to be one and a half to 2 miles east north east of my location. It was between the Horizon and the powerlines across the street from my house. The entire sky was overcast except the southwest. The weather showed a 5 mph light wind from the north east. While trying to direct my colleague to its location he was unable to see due to an obstruction behind his house. I was trying to get my camera to focus and take a picture when after 10 seconds it begin to fade and appear to collapse in on its self. While explaining the specifics of what I have just seen, approximately four minutes later it appeared in the exact location that it was. It appeared to start as a small point of light and then expand to its previous size. It stayed the same for approximately 20 seconds then pulsated for 2 to 3 seconds before remaining steady again, then lasted a remaining 10 seconds before collapsing in on itself. I was a bright orange color that did not radiate outside of its spherical boundary. I was able to take two pictures of it on its second appearance.
