I was sitting in my backyard with my friend Emily, just enjoying the late afternoon sun. We were discussing some of the wildest dreams we've had when suddenly, Emily pointed towards the old oak tree. Hovering right above it was this bizarre, shimmering object, like a giant metallic dragonfly. It was the most beautiful and weird thing I had ever seen. The surface of the object was reflective, catching the sunlight and throwing colors like a prism. It made no sound, but the air around us felt charged, like right before a storm. Emily and I just sat there, mouths agape, watching it dance in the sky.
