Witness Account

The best way to describe it is that it looked like a shooting star in the daytime, except it appeared to be well below normal airplane cruising altitude. The object was silver in color and seemed to descend toward the earth while leaving behind a thin light trail, not smoke. It flared brightly for about 1–3 seconds before suddenly disappearing. What made the sighting even stranger was a second object that appeared to be following behind it from miles away. The best way I can describe it is that it looked like a strange sphere with a cube either inside of it or attached to the side of it. That object also disappeared suddenly while I was staring directly at it. Conditions were clear with good visibility — mostly blue skies with only a few small patchy clouds. My wife and I both witnessed the objects at the same time. We are healthy, have good eyesight, and do not drink alcohol or use hard drugs. We’re reasonable people and not the type to jump to conclusions, which is why I’ve been trying to find a logical explanation for what we saw. I understand there was meteor activity around that time, and a rare daytime fireball seems like the most reasonable explanation for the first object.…
