So there I was, up on the rooftop of my buddy’s house, just fiddling around with an old telescope he got at a yard sale. The city lights were sparkling, and I was just trying to catch a glimpse of something cool when I noticed this odd shimmer in the sky. At first, I thought it was just a trick of the light, maybe a reflection from a plane or something, but then it started to get really weird. It was like a floating, translucent jellyfish, kinda pulsating with these soft hues of green and blue. I swear it was the most mesmerizing thing I've ever seen. It seemed to float closer, almost as if it was curious about what I was doing, but never threatening or anything. The whole experience felt like it lasted forever, but in reality, it was just a few minutes before it slowly drifted out of sight, leaving me utterly speechless.
