Witness Account

Me, my sister, and her boyfriend — all young adults — were the ones who observed the objects. There were two of them: one was close to the tree line, and the other was higher up in the sky to the left. At first, we thought they might be Chinese lanterns because I initially saw one of the lights dim and disappear, only to reappear in another location. The light near the tree line did the same thing after the other one dimmed and vanished. It would get bright and then slowly or quickly fade out, almost like it was pulsating. The objects looked like pure balls of light with no sound, unlike the airplanes we could already see in the sky. After a while, my sister and I went outside onto the patio to get a better look. As soon as I stepped outside, I noticed there were barely any cricket sounds — it was eerily quiet. The lights continued dimming and moving around for about 47 minutes. When a plane with flashing lights passed near one of the objects, the light quickly disappeared, almost like it was hiding from it.
