Witness Account

So, I'm chilling in my living room, just got off a long video call for work. I'm staring out the window, thinking about absolutely nothing, when suddenly, I notice something super weird in the backyard. There's this strange, shimmering thing hovering just above the treetops. It looks like a giant metallic jellyfish, the kind you'd see in one of those old-school sci-fi movies, only this one has this iridescent glow that's hard to describe. I grab my phone to record, but the thing seems to know I'm watching. It starts to ripple and shift, almost like it's trying to communicate. Then, out of nowhere, it shoots straight up into the sky, leaving a spiral of glittering particles behind. I swear, I blinked and it was gone.
