Witness Account
Bluish-White Point of Light — Smooth Climb, Near-Hover, and Fade — Pine Bluff, AR Description: On the evening of 11 August 2026 at approximately 21:33 CDT, a bright bluish-white point-source light was observed and recorded due north over Pine Bluff, Arkansas, before disappearing. A smooth transition from near-stationary to sustained climb, followed by a deceleration to a near-hover, before fading from view. No turns, reversals, or directional zigzag were present in the tracked data — the changes observed were in speed, not direction. 0:04–0:10: Steady upward climb, approximately 25 pixels/second, with slight leftward drift. 0:10–0:17: Marked slowdown, roughly plateauing at a higher elevation. Because the camera reference remained stable during this phase, the slowdown is a genuine feature of the object's apparent motion, not a camera-tracking artifact.
