Witness Account

So there I was, out in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by towering redwoods, trying to photograph some rare fungus for my nature blog. It was the middle of the day, and the sun was just peeking through the dense canopy above. Suddenly, this metallic disc just hovered above me, completely silent. It was like someone had pressed pause on reality itself. I could see strange glyphs etched on its surface, and it seemed to shimmer like it was made of liquid metal. It must've been at least 50 feet across, just hanging there, defying gravity. My camera was in my hands, but I was too stunned to snap a picture. Then, as if it sensed my awe, it zipped away, vanishing between the trees like it was never there.
