Witness Account

It was supposed to be a quiet evening, just me and my vintage typewriter on the balcony, attempting to craft the next great novel. The sky was a canvas of brilliant purples and oranges as the sun dipped below the horizon. Out of nowhere, a strange humming filled the air. It wasn't like anything I'd heard before, sort of like a low, resonating vibration that seemed to come from everywhere and nowhere all at once. Looking up, I saw a peculiar object hovering just above the treeline. It was triangular, with a silvery sheen that reflected the fading sunlight. The edges of the triangle glowed with a soft blue light that pulsated rhythmically.
