So I was sitting on my back porch, sipping on some iced tea, and watching my neighbor try to install a new birdhouse, when outta nowhere, I see this shiny, metallic object hovering right above his backyard. It wasn't like anything I'd seen before, sorta like a giant chrome egg with little flashing lights that danced around its surface. I rubbed my eyes, thinking maybe I was seeing things, but nope, it was still there. It was making this weird humming noise, like a distant generator but softer, almost soothing in a way. Then, just as suddenly as it appeared, it started moving in a zig-zag pattern, going from left to right in a way that seemed impossible for anything man-made.
