Witness Account

Saw a fuzzy orb that was not noticed in previous stargazing, Southern Colorado Astronomical Society. Looked with binocilars and saw a large diffuse spiral that completely filled the eyepiece. It seemed stationary as the object didn't immediately move. Then a bright spot in the middle as the spiral started to dissipate. Another bright spot appeared as the bright objects moved away from one another, the diffuse nebulousity still surrounding the frst object. This was directly overhead, above the constellation Hercules. After retrieving a Star Chart I noticed the globilar cluster M52 is located near this area but it is very small compared to what I witnessed. I thought perhaps a rocket launch or a space vehicle separation manuever. I don't intend to waste anyone's time, I was just curious because I couldn't account for the spiral pattern and actually thought it was a Spiral Galaxy face on! NUFORC Note: GPS III SV-10
