Witness Account

On Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 9:29 pm in Las Vegas, Nevada, near the corner of Rainbow and Oakey streets, I noticed a silent floating red light or orb, appearing relatively stationary in the sky above me. Parking my car, I observed the light slowly and silently moving towards the northeast. Suddenly, 5 similar red orbs appeared in formation, following the path of the first. As my phone battery had died and was charging, I frantically attempted to turn it on for recording. Unfortunately, as with the first object, these 5 objects gradually disappeared into clouds before I could access the camera. Fortunately, 4 similar objects (2 at a time) appeared, so I was able to film each group with my camera phone. At 9:36 pm, I called 911 to see if anyone was observing the strange objects, but the operator stated it was not an emergency and disconnected the call. As an amateur astronomer observing the night sky for decades, I confidently know these unknown objects were unlike anything else I have ever seen.
