Bright lights hovering and disappearing

Witness Account

It was pitch black, and my dad was driving my family. I was in the passenger seat, keeping an eye out for animals on the windy road. My family in the backseat could not see out the front windshield much, and there was no sun/moon roof, and my dad was focusing on the road. All of a sudden I saw this bright light, and when my eyes adjusted I noticed that there were about five circular lights evenly spaced from each other making a circle. It hovered right over the tree line, and moved to the right before lowering down into the trees. This all happened in the span of about three seconds, and I was left in a state of shock, unable to speak to my family about what I had witnessed. When we got to our destination, I noticed a speck of blood in my eye, right by my pupil, that wasn’t there before. Not sure if that could somehow be related.
