Witness Account

I was hanging out with my friends on the rooftop, testing out some new stargazing gear. The sky was clear, stars popping like a trillion fireflies. Out of nowhere, a silver disk shot across the sky. At first, I thought it was some fancy drone, but it moved too fast, zipping back and forth like a hyperactive ping-pong ball. It hovered above us, close enough that I could see strange symbols etched on its side, like something straight out of a sci-fi movie. We were all too stunned to even pull out our phones. Just as suddenly as it appeared, it shot straight up into the sky, disappearing in a blink. We just stood there, jaws dropped, feeling like we had a secret we couldn't share.
