Witness Account

So there I was, just relaxing on my porch with a good book, when out of nowhere, this shimmering, silver object darted across the sky like a mischievous hummingbird. I squinted, trying to make sense of it, when suddenly it halted mid-air, just hanging there like it owned the place. My heart did a little leapfrog because, I swear, the thing was doing a dance - spinning, twirling, flashing colors that would make a disco ball blush. I thought I was losing it, but then I noticed the neighbor's cat, usually a cool cucumber, was frantically chasing its tail, clearly spooked by the whole spectacle. I reached for my phone to snap a pic, but by the time I unlocked it, the thing zipped away, leaving behind a faint whirring sound and a bewildered cat.
