So there I was, sitting by the edge of Great Slave Lake, trying to get a sketch of the northern lights for my art project. Suddenly, a faint humming sound interrupted the serene silence of the night. At first, I thought it was just the wind playing tricks, but then I noticed a shimmering, silvery disc gliding silently over the water. It moved with an almost hypnotic grace, casting ripples of light across the lake's surface. The thing didn't seem to be in any rush, just kind of meandering back and forth, like it was searching for something.
