Witness Account

Observers: 54 y.o. female & 60 y.o. male; married; well-educated, rational, grounded, skeptical but open-minded; sober, clear-headed, cognizant & fully-oriented to self, place, and time/date at the time of observation. Event: At 10:16pm EST we observed, with the naked eye, a small red light passing overhead & assumed it to be an airplane at first (we see these daily). It was first noticed at approximately 70° angle of elevation toward the SSE. The red light did not have adjacent strobing lights of any color (at the time, 3 airplanes were visible in the sky on clearly different flight paths to the NNW, which is where we normally see airplanes, all with red, green or white continuously strobing lights) and remained constantly illuminated for the duration of our observation. The light was moving from the SSE toward NNW at a steady pace with no apparent speed, direction, or altitude variations. Just after passing directly overhead, a second red light appeared right next to the first red light. The two red lights were oriented on a NNE/SSW axis. The second light moved exactly as the first light had (no deviation, strobing, etc) and the dual-light object continued its NNW trajectory…
