I was out on a solo photography expedition deep in the lush jungles near Durango, hoping to capture some unique wildlife shots. The sun had just dipped below the horizon, and the air was filled with the chorus of nocturnal creatures. Suddenly, an intense humming filled the air, almost vibrating through the leaves. Looking up, I saw a massive, translucent sphere hovering silently above the canopy. It pulsed with a soft, greenish light that seemed to dance across its surface. As I watched, mesmerized, the sphere began to lower a thin, luminous beam down to the forest floor. It was as if the jungle was being scanned or surveyed. My camera was still in hand, but I was too entranced to lift it.
