Witness Account

I was fishing with my cousin on a small wooden boat in the middle of Lake Superior. The air was crisp, and the sky was as clear as it could be. We were quietly casting our lines, when suddenly the water around us started to ripple with no apparent cause. Just as we exchanged puzzled glances, a massive silver disk emerged silently from the water, hovering just above the surface. It was smooth and seamless, reflecting the water like a mirror. The object made no noise, just a faint hum that seemed to vibrate through our bones. As it hovered, a light, almost like a spotlight, scanned the water around us. My cousin and I were too stunned to move, just watching in awe and disbelief. After a few moments, it shot up into the sky at an impossible speed and vanished into the horizon.
