I was in the backyard and I looked up I saw a light pan across the sky going from west to east then disappearing

I wa in the backyard and looked up I saw a light moving at incredible speeds it made its way from west to east then after around 5 seconds it disappeared and there was no sound after when my sibling got home they said they had seen the same thing
