Witness Account
Gliding steady pace During the early morning hours, while on a break smoking a cigarette, I looked toward the moon and observed what initially appeared to be a single star. The object was positioned just above the tree line and was moving at a steady, consistent speed. It did not appear to be very high in the sky. I continued observing the object for several moments and began to realize that it did not resemble a typical star. Believing the sighting was unusual, I immediately ran into the campground cabin I was assigned to guard to retrieve my cell phone so I could record the object. When I returned outside only moments later, the object was no longer visible. Despite scanning the area, I was unable to locate it again. At the time of the sighting, the weather conditions were clear, the sky was dark, and visibility was excellent. No clouds or other weather conditions were present that would have obstructed my view.
