Thought it was a shooting star but never changed color and changed direction with a clear fire trail behind it.

Witness Account

I was recording the moon in time lapse on a tripod while outside with my wife and son which I started to record at 9:09PM. At 10:01PM I was facing west when I spotted a bright light appear out of no where in the sky and can see the tail behind. I was excited and immediately pointed at it so my wife and son can turn around and see the “shooting star” before it burned out. I stopped my time lapse recording and start to normally record the object. I was glad to start recording before the object turn green. From my prior experience with shooting start when they turn green they are about to completely burn out. But as the video shows the object never turned green and began to change direction. It eventually flew behind the mountain and didn’t appear again. When I searched the direction the object was possibly flying over found it was towards Dana Point.
