I was up in the mountains, sketching some wildlife for a new art project. The day was just as usual, until a strange buzzing sound interrupted the serene environment. I looked up, expecting to see a drone or maybe a helicopter, but instead, I was greeted by the sight of a large, metallic disc hovering above the tree line. It had a smooth, reflective surface that seemed to ripple like liquid mercury. My sketchpad fell to the ground as I watched it silently glide closer, casting a shadow that seemed almost surreal in its precision. It hovered there, as if inspecting me or my drawings, before performing a series of rapid, zigzagging maneuvers that defied any logic or technology I knew. Then, just as suddenly as it appeared, it shot up into the sky and vanished without a trace.
