Witness Account

While looking up at the sky, I saw a bright whitish orb (nearly perfect circular shape) with a slight blue hue surrounding it which traveled very slowly at first from the south to the north at a 500-1000' or less as a guestimate. The orb traveled as I noted slowly at first and then in what seemed like a split second quickly accelerated and simply vanished. There was no sound and no trail that remained after it vanished into thin air.
