Witness Account

So, I was at this artsy rooftop bar, taking in the skyline, when out of nowhere, this metallic oval shape hovered above the horizon. It shimmered like it was made of liquid mercury, and every now and then, it would reflect the city lights in the strangest way. I pointed it out to the bartender, but he just shrugged, saying it was probably a drone. But, I've seen drones, and this was no drone. This thing was silent, just hanging there, like it was watching us. A couple of folks around me started to notice it too, and we all just stood there, drinks in hand, mouths agape. It was a surreal moment, like time had paused for a brief second.
